REGISTRATION FOR YETI BIKE RACE

FLIGHT TO KATHMANDU
16 SEPT

Departures from Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona with a guide. Bikes can go on the flight (see conditions)

17 SEPT.
Arrival at Kathmandu international airport. The staff and guides of Makalu Adventures join you and will transfer in a private vehicle. Act of Welcome dinner Ceremony in Khatmandu and Technical Briefing in Bhojan Griha Restaurant with folkloric act. Hotel accommodation at Thamel Eco Resort

18 SEPT.
Breakfast and departure by private vehicle at 6:00 am to Beni Sahar. Lunch en route and arrival around 13.00hrs. Free time and Dinner in Beni Sahar.

19 SEPT

Breakfast from 7;30. 9:00hrs. start of the 1st STAGE YETI BIKE RACE. Beni Sahar – Jagat. Arrival scheduled from 12:00 p.m. to 14:O0 p.m. Journey in which we are ascending from subtropical forest to a landscape of transition, where we begin to see great pines. We raffle small streams formed by large waterfalls that descend along our path.

We will take a hot spring bath on arrival previous to the dinner and accommodation in mountain guesthouse.

20 SEPT.

Breakfast from 7:30 a.m. 9.00hrs. start of the 2nd Stage YETI BIKE RACE. Jagat-Chame Arrival scheduled from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Short but demanding stage in which we ascend strongly and continuously, with hard ramps that in some cases exceed 15 and even 20%. We exceeded 2500m in height over sea level, which may begin to be sensitive to bikers. The landscape is transforming

Food and visit to the Chame spring waters. Free time. Dinner and accommodation in a mountain guesthouse.

21 SEPT.

Breakfast from 7:30. 9:00 hrs. and start of the 3rd STAGE YETI BIKE RACE. Chame-Manang. Arrival scheduled from 12:00 to 14:00 hrs. Stage that passes between forests of large coniferous species such as cedars, pines or Nepalese firs and that passes in a false plateau in which we are gaining height slowly. Here the altitude is already a handicap because the finish line of today is in Manang at 3400m altitude

Food and soft trekking with a thematic tour with a guide to the Ganggapurna Glacier. Free time. Dinner and accommodation in a mountain guesthouse

22 SEPT.

Acclimation day. start of the 4th STAGE YETI BIKE RACE. Manang-Ledar-Phedi (NEUTRALIZED) Breakfast at 9:30 and departure to Ledar as a group or individually but always recommended very soft. Day to observe the Himalayas and its fauna as we enter the territory of the snow leopard and the blue deer. The dense forests give way to small juniper species twisted by the winds.

Lunch in Ledar and soft trekking in the afternoon in Phedi to facilitate acclimatization. Dinner and Accomodation in guesthouse in Phedi

23 SEPT.

We got up at 6:00 for breakfast and left in a neutralized way to walk slowly up to the porters to High Point, very close to Thorong La Pass, the highest point of the route, at 5416m. Here the organization will take clothes to us if necessary by meteorology. We are surrounded by peaks that exceed 6000m as Purbung Himal or Thorung Peak with its imposing glaciers. Start of the 5th STAGE OF THE YETI BIKE RACE, with a long, cyclable and very scenic descent that will take us to Kagbeni (feeding area) and continue to Jomsom to finish in the picturesque village of Marpha. After the deserved food, we will visit his Buddhist temple.

24 SEPT.

Breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00. Start of the 6th YETI BIKE RACE STAGE, gently descending along the Kali Gandaki Nadi river that we will cross several times on its footbridges, continuously entering and leaving singletracks to forested trails with a gentle climb to the village and lake of Titi. In this stage the final ranking and winners of the race are decided.

Arrival in Tatopami and final of the timed race. In this town we will take a bath in its thermal waters. Lunch, reading of the final classification and delivery of leader numbers.

25 SEPT

Breakfast at 9.00 and optional start of the 7th stage (NEUTRALIZED) from Tatopami to Beni. Whoever wants to can descend in the van of the organization to Beni where we pick up the bikers who will be transported to Pokkara, where the final party of the YETI BIKE RACE takes place in a first class luxury hotel.

26 SEPT

Breakfast and optional departure by a vehicle with the organization or by plane (with supplement) to Kathmandu. The bus trip lasts 7-8 hours and stops to have lunch in route. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, free time, shopping etc. The closing ceremony of the YETI BIKE RACE takes place and the trophies and finishers medals are handed out to all participants who finish the challenge. Dinner for free each participant. Hotel accommodation.

27 SEPT.

Transfer to Kathmandu international airport and return including one hotel night free + transfer by courtesy of Turkish airlines in Istambul. Flight back to destination and end of services contracted.

28 SEPT.

Transfer and departure flight from Istambul to the final destination. End of the program.
